The region of Speyside, the river Spey and whisky.
… there is a region in Scotland under the interesting name Speyside [Speyside]. Here is the same town Daffron [Dufftown], which is the headquarters of the world whiskey [whisky capital of the world].
Spey [Spey] — a river in Scotland. The region is world famous for its wonderful whisky, but many believe that the distilleries in the region uses water from the river. It’s so frankly it should, in fact, from the name that automatically comes to mind.
In fact, all distilleries of the region use the same water as all other distilleries in Scotland, that is, spring. As says the old Scottish proverb: today’s rain is tomorrow’s whiskey.
